Takuto “Tak” Tanaka is a real estate agent with KW Big Island.
Born & raised in Japan, he moved to Hawaii for junior high school, Takuto is fluent in Japanese and English.
Since moving to Kailua-Kona, Takuto has been living in Kona Vistas Community, for 12 years. He calls Kailua-Kona his second home.
Because he spent his half-life in Kailua-Kona, he knows the town like the back of his hand and has practical knowledge of each neighborhood in and around the area.

After graduating from Hawai'i Preparatory Academy (HPA), Takuto moved away to Tucson, Arizona, and studied Psychology & Business at the University of Arizona.
After graduating from U of A, Takuto returned to the Big Island and began his career in Sales and management with The DRIPBaR Kailua-Kona.
Here he acquired the skills to stay resilient & persistent and provide the highest level of customer service by understanding the importance of follow-ups, interpersonal relationships, and active listening.
While his work was fulfilling, Takuto felt he could make more of a difference as a realtor by sharing the attraction of his second home, Kailua-Kona, and helping clients find beautiful properties available in and around the area.
Takuto’s goal is to make sure his clients feel supported and that they have a trusted advisor by their side.
What sets Takuto apart from other agents is that he has an educational background in psychology, and he uses a varied listening approach with his clients.
